The Lead Night Auditor is a primary contact for a variety of guest services and is responsible for providing all guests with friendly and knowledgeable interaction and the timely and efficient delivery of exceptional services. Special emphasis is placed on accommodating guest preferences, flexibility with work assignments, efficiency, quality, and social demeanor that contributes to a hospitable environment. The Lead Night Auditor is responsible for nightly reporting and preparation of Daily Audit Packs as well as training and development of Night Auditors.


  1. Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
  2. Perform check-in and check-out services, properly record sales transactions and secure accurate payment, coordinate bell services, answer telephones, take guestroom reservations, run reports, handle guest mail and messages, program wake-up calls, and perform a variety of other tasks conducive to the efficient operation of the front office and to providing all hotel guests with exceptional hotel services.
  3. Be knowledgeable of the hours of operation of all hotel services and aggressively sell such services.
  4. Be knowledgeable of hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  5. Maintain on-going communication and collaboration with all departments with the aim of achieving high levels of cooperation and service excellence.
  6. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the front office, lobby, and surrounding areas.
  7. Assist in checking all lobby fixtures, equipment, and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings, and maintenance. Write and submit maintenance work orders as needed.
  8. Conduct routine security tours of the property (inside/outside). Write and submit safety report. Appropriately respond to guest or employee incidents.
  9. Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately.
  10. Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
  11. Act as Person in Charge (PIC)
  12. Ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of nightly reporting and Audit Packs.
  13. Train Night Auditors and track their professional development.
  14. In cooperation with Accounting Supervisor, maintain checklists, process & procedure documents, and other materials pertinent to the Audit Staff.
  15. Maintain regular communication with Accounting Supervisor.
  16. Perform any task not outlined above that the associate has the ability to perform.

Looking for a self motivated, organized and punctual individual with experience in Customer Service and training employees.  Proficiency with Word and Excel required.  Experience with Accounting or Night Audit preferred.  Accounting classwork and experience working with Opera PMS a plus.  10:30pm-7:00am with some flexibility on either end, both Saturday and Sunday availability a must.
